Transplanting a diesel engine???

Hello to everyone.

I have some experience in recycling chip oil and running mercedes diesel engines on this oil.

Now i would like to install a diesel engine into a Sl and would like to hear if any of you knowledgeable people have any experience of this or suggestions as to which of the later, quieter engines may fit?

Many thanks to you all for your community.

Dan

The short answer, and I am sure you saw in the diesel forum, is don't.
