Looking at buying a 560SL - Please advise.
I'm the owner of a 2009 C300 4Matic but have always loved the old SL from my childhood. I'm in a position where I can finally buy one as a weekend car.
I'm located in New York but I've spied Red 560SL s in MH and MI. I'm looking at 86-87' ~50,000 miles. The price seems to hover around $15,000.00.
Can you please tell me what things to look out for with the 560SL and if there are years that I should avoid? Since I'll be transporting the car to me is there any advice you can give me or recommend a shipper? Also how should I send my funds?
