95 C220, 81 380SL
1981 380SL - Needs Engine
Heater hose sprung a leak. Engine overheated badly and is kaput.

What engines will fit in this space in addition to a straight replacement? Do the 450 SL / 450 SLC engines from the early 70's fit in this space? Anything other suggestions?

Trying to decide what to do with clean vehicle that has been in family for over 20 years. Thanks for your thoughts.
