Looking for a 450 SLC

Know of any for sale? A close friend of mine is looking for one. Also...any 5.0's hiding out there? And if you happen to have any tips on what to look out for, I'm sure he'll appreciate the help.

Larry,
My mother in law is selling hers right now but I don't know what a 450SLC is. What does the "C" stand for? She has a fully restored 1976 450SL euro with 243,500 west coast miles on it. It is in awesome condition, and it even smells new inside! This car is located in Oroville, CA(garaged).

Thanks for the replay davee1, but my friend is specifically looking for an SLC- the coupe version of the 107. He already has a beautiful 560 SL and would be interested in finding a nice coupe. And if there are any 5.0s hiding out there please let me know!

I mentioned one above

If there is an interest let me know. It is a 500 slc from the royal family in Monaco. I know it had Monaco plates at one time. I never had the ownership checked, but I knew the importer well. He had the first and last public Vin number for the 500 SlC in his showroom . This was 18 years ago.

palbertr, I tried e-mailing you about a week ago, but I don't think it got to you. Please e-mail me back at w208@jrentech.net. Thanks
