reference sensor 560 sl

does any one have any help on removing a reference sensor on a 1986 560 sl when it broke off on trying to remove it. thanks in advance

SOLD both: 1987 560SL 2003 ML320
Reference sensor = crankshaft position sensor? Wow. That thing is hard enough to reach to begin with, much less remove a broken one. Other than trying to work it out with some really long needle-nose pliers (ones with curved tip) I don't have any idea.

its easier to get to it from umderneath the car. reach around left side of transmission bellhousing.
