Question 380SL Euro

I got a line on a 380SL Euro(/) What is the difference between a Euro and a "standard" "84? Is it just the headlights? What about the timing chain? Is a single timing chain a deal breaker, or does it really matter?

82 380SL 96 SL500
Headlights and bumpers.
Possibly the climate control.
Both had dual row timing chain.
No answer as to whether the engines differ.

However, during federalization there could be any number of changes from the origianal euro configuration.
