Upgrading a 500sl with a 560 motor?
Hi, bought a 1982 500sl with a 560 motor. Should I replace the 560 motor with a 500 or upgrade the electronics.The 560 motor is giving black smoke when revved but is that because there is no electronics connected, currently using the 500 distributor and ECU box and the Bosch mechanical fuel system.
