May purchase this car, but have some concerns and would greatly appreciate any insight.
Owner says it has 69k miles, but the odometer/speedometer has the primary spped indicator as MPH, with KPH as the secondary. This was a gray market car from Canada, so why would that be? Was the odometer switched out?
Also, the transmsission revs sometimes and actually needs to be manually shifted. Is that possible with such low miles? (or does it have 169K?).
Finally. Assuming that the transmission needs a complete overhaul ($3k), I can get it for $5K. The exterior is perfect (red) and the interior and 2 tops are quite nice--does that make the purchase reasonable. Thanks so much for any thoughts!
