Have you tried using your key?

Failing that, there are connection points in the engine compartment, though I can't say exactly where, that you can hook a charger or jump to.

You could also pull a vacuum on the vacuum system and use the central locking to open it.

trunk wont open....

of course the key has been used!! (the idea of reading the manual was parat of it)
Now, we need to know just how much it will break us to get someone to show us where those points are!!!! We only got this car for a show car and not drive it much, so getting a MB person means big bucks we dont have. Will a tow person who normally does tows, and jumps, know how to jump this kind of car? We dont want the car runined, it still has the original battery in this car, so its time for a change, however, we just dont have the bucoo bucks to get this taken to a dealer. Its bad enough we're looking at the turn signal lights dont want to work now,its not the fuse, that alone is enough to scare us into finding a mechanic that wont break the bank and know what the heck they are doing.... thanks for the advice.

Passenger side, on top of wheel well, plastic "box" about 2"x4"x1" with a big "+" sign on it. Open the lid with a small screwdriver under the latch & you have access to the positive pole of the battery. Attach ground to the chassis somewhere.

I recommend you get the lock on the trunk repaired ASAP. Car key should open trunk even if locked with central locking.

Note that the car doesn't have an electric vacuum pump and will need to be started before the central locking will open the trunk.
