Hi, The odometer on my 82 380sl does not work. The speedometer works fine and everything else in the cluster works fine. Is the speedometer and odometer mechanical or electronic. Anyone have any ideas...Thanks for your input....

The speedometer/odometer are electronic.

Failure of the odometer is due to deteriation of plastic gears.
