380sl Winter storage
Any advice on winter storage of my new classic? ethanol treatment for fuel? store on jack stands (take weight of suspension) or just pump up tires to 30 psi more than normal? keep battery charged. soft cover up to keep from creasing..... any other help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

All those ideas are ok except the 30 pounds higher pressure. Your tires aren't rated to hold pressures that great.
I generally just put the top up and the cover on. Of course I also back it out of the garage once or twice each winter and let it warm up to operating temperatures & keep the battery charged..

I put 1/2' of rubber between the garage floor and the tires so I dont hav flat spots on them in the spring ... full tank of gas ... start once a month and run everything.
I would have put my 380 sl on stands but I think special stands are needed or its too dangerous.
