Chrome Bumper Retrofit
Greetings to all. I am considering buying a very nice R107, post 1974 with the USA safety bumpers. I really like the pre-1974 slim chrome bumper look.
I suspect this may be a well-discussed item here, but I would apreciate any replies on the possibilit yof retrofitting a post 1974 R107 woith the ealry chrome bumpers and associated trim.

BTW - Anyone who has an early chrome bumper 280SL model for sale, I'd consider that also.
