fixing floor mats
i have original mb floor mats and the backing was slowly disintegrating leaving a mess and carpet sliding all over the place. i took a stiff wire brush and removed what was left of the backing. then i went to the dollar store and bought rubber shelf liner and used 3m spray on adhesive to atach the liner.worked like a charm. the mats do not move and no more crude from the mats n the car i used 3 rolls of liner. so total cost $8 problem fixed. hope this helps

do you remember what 3M spray adhesive you used? Usually, adhesives and anything foam-like don't get along.
