380SL 1981 Tumbler lock
Hello - I need a new/used Tumbler Lock (Benz no 116 462 0279) for my Mercedes 380 SL 1981 Vin WDBBA45A1BB005292. Mercedes does not manufacture them any more. It must be some one out there with same problem. Is there any alternativ possibilitis?

Three options.
1. Find a locksmith that can open and rebuild your tumbler.
2. Used. 1979 through 1985 107 models. And others.
3. Replace the steering lock with a new one for a 560SL 107 462 03 30 and tumbler with lock undefined 123 462 04 79. About $205.00 delivered here http://www.oediscountparts.com/partl...?siteid=215242. I have confirmed this will work. The lock assembly comes with a nes ignition switch attached
