Fuel pump replacement

I need as much information on this as possible. The fuel pump on my 88 560sl needs to be replaced. Some places say there are 2 of them, some say one. Where are they and how much of a pain in the butt is it to do this?
Is there anything major I need to watch out for? Does the tank need to be dropped? I can fix just about everything on my own but this is my first mercedes and don't want to screw it up.

It has two fuel pumps part number 003 091 53 01. Goggle that and you can find the Bosch equivalent. You need to pinch the hose from the tank to the pump. Most use this opportunity to replace all the hoses. To do this the tank has to be drained. Check the on line service manual if you don't have one. http://www.startekinfo.com/StarTek/o...tedDocId=11883

The fuel pump package is behind the right rear axle. Jack it up and you can see it easily.
