There is no such thing as an R107 SL500. Plus there is no such thing as a 1971 R107 500SL. Only the 350SL for 1971.

The R107 500SL began production in late 1979 for the 1980 model year and ran through till the end in 1989.

ANY IDEA OF THE YEAR AND MODEL NUMBER OF THE CAR IN THE VIDEO?

Wheels and front spoiler point to "86-'89 300SL, 420SL, or 500SL. Those were the only R107s sold in Great Britain during those years.

I'd love a 450SLC or 500SLC. Man, that'd be fun to run in the STPR.

450SLCs are a dime a dozen. On the other hand 450SLC 5.0 and 500SLC 107.026s are hard to find. Especially in good condition.
