There is no such thing as an R107 SL500. Plus there is no such thing as a 1971 R107 500SL. Only the 350SL for 1971.
The R107 500SL began production in late 1979 for the 1980 model year and ran through till the end in 1989.

Wheels and front spoiler point to "86-'89 300SL, 420SL, or 500SL. Those were the only R107s sold in Great Britain during those years.
