Hello. I am looking at a 1978 450 slc this weekend, looks to be taken care of and has a low 103k miles. The owner has told me no check engine light appears however the car does not blow heat into the cabin and also it accelerates slowly but once at speed is fine. Are these issues to be highly concerned about? Also, how advanced are the check engine light systems in this era? Should i trust that the car is pretty sound if the CEL isnt on? Thank you for any help
