560SL intermittent no power, chokes
I need some help with my 1987 560SL...
Sometime the car runs great and sometimes is completely looses throttle and chokes. Pushing the pedal all the way to the floor does almost nothing. It only happens intermittently and often times after coming to a stop.
I replaced the spark plugs, wires and cleaned the cap and rotor.
It also has a new fuel filter and pumps and oxygen sensor.
I cleaned out the EGR and idle valve and they seem to move freely
I am getting plenty of fuel pressure at the test port even when the car acts up.
Any ideas would be appreciated

Hi...I just bought a project 87 560SL with almost the same problem, but it happens constantly. Car is nearly undriveable. Did you every figure this issue out?
