82 380SL Hard Start when warm, stops randomly
Bought me A 82' 380SL that had been sitting for a while. the car has no rust and it is solid overall. Ordered an inspection prior to buy and did not detect anything during road test until after buying I started using it and noticed a small coolant leak which triggered me to replace the radiator and flush the coolant, plus the thermostat plus made the first oil change and filter since my ownership. One of the things I noticed it is the car cranks starts great on cold no high idle but when warm tends to have hard start and one time stopped dead at at traffic light stop but after letting it sit for a while will crank again normal. I have researched and I wonder if I should replace the fuel accumulator, filter and pump to attempt to correct this when the car warms up. any suggestions appreciated!

hard start
, that only leaves the Accumulator (if applicable) the frequency valve?(on portside of engine front) or the Barometric pressure thing on right side of engine front, again, this is for 85 model year, also be sure to check your fuel relay behind glovebox on sidewall above fuse panel. so, if you have debris in tank, i/e/ rust, particulate, etc... the screen may very well be clogged. It couldn't hurt to pull it and look, right? it is the cheapest of ALL options yes?
