Eliminating Both fans for a '16 SPAL Puller

Wishing to keep my '88 560SL's radiator temps low this coming summer with its 115 degree heat, I'm considering eliminating both my mechanical fan AND the electric pusher in front of the radiator and re-connecting the pusher's wires to a 16" SPAL puller at the rear. Will this be worth it? I just got the car a few weeks ago.
