Value of 1983 380SL

I'm trying to establish the value of an '83 380SL I came across locally in the USA. Clean 2 owner car, 47k miles, all original paint, no rust, 2 tops, most service records, PPI revealed it needs a front brake job, leaking washer pump, fuel line from pump leaking at fittings and a slight oil leak from the rear of the engine. Its only done 1k miles in the last 10 years, so in addition to what the PPI revealed, it needs a full fluid service and a set of tires. The seller is asking $21,500 which seams high?

Also how is the performance of 380 compared to the 560, is it noticeably under powered? This will just be a sunny summer afternoon car for my wife and I. I also own an '83 911SC, looking to add something different to the stable.

Thanks,

JF
