SL/R107: r107 hubcaps

72 350SL (two)
r107 hubcaps
MB Classic Center says all US cars came with alloys - is this right? Reason I ask is that my 72 350SL has fake wire wheels and I want to go back to whatever came on the car. The data card for my "Light Ivory 670" car says it came with a blue top (cant be because interior is brown) and power windows (yet mine are manual) and alloy wheels. So I don't trust whats on the data card. I do have a set of steel wheels, and hubcaps that need to be painted, but if its true that all cars, even 72, came with alloys then so be it.

I have a 1973 450SL That came with alloys. I can provide pics. But, I removed them and I have them sitting in my garage. If you're intrested let me know.
