Is the fuel reserve just a warning to get fuel or is there a way to activate a reserve?

 

When your low fuel light illuminates its telling you there is approximately two gallons of fuel remaining in the tank. The best way to activate reserve is to fuel at the next gas station.

Thanks for been here, i have serious challenge i love Benz very well, i happened to buy a Mercedes Benz C180, to be candid with you i have the challenge of high consumption and i was told it doesn't consume fuel why is mine different, please i need a guide and what to do please.
