New to forum, have a couple of questions regarding paint and interior
Hey everyone. Happy to be apart of the forum. I am trying to figure out the factory paint and interior colors for a ‘73 450 sl i just picked up. I attatched a picture of the tag located in the engine compartment. Any help on this topic would be a great help as im gearing to begin the cars restoration. Thanks in advance!

You say the attached picture is of the tag located in the engine compartment, but your picture is actually of the sticker on the back of a Panasonic radio/CD player made for Mercedes in 2017. We'd have to see the picture of the metal plate which I think is located just to the right of the hood latch, on top of the radiator support. It will show the paint code, etc.

Paint code on the plate will be three number followed by either G or H. Letters are for the brand. If the hardtop and body were originally the same color the number will be the same twice.
Interior code will not appear on the plate. You will have to contact MBUSA for the data card. From what I have read the Classic Center no longer provides this information.
