Need help in getting a duplicate key made for my 1987 560SL. I have tried the local Mercedes-Benz dealer and local locksmiths to no avail. I only have one key and that scares the heck out of me. Thanks for any input. I am in the metro Atlanta area.

 

Where is "local"? Try the Mercedes Classic Center in Irvine, Ca.

 

I got a replacement key from my indie repair shop using the vin number. Cost me $20,00..May have been easier because I know the guy for 15 years and didn't need any I'd issues or title ownership or ????.
