Hello MBWorld! I just closed today on my new project and I'll be looking for some help as I begin my life with a 1988 560SL. It only has 65k miles on it, but it's definitely showing its age. Things that were inoperable during the PPI:
Cruise Control
Radio
Hazard lights
AC (blower works, condenser not so much)
Interior lights
Also needs new seat upholstery (at least) and a new soft top, amongst other cosmetic blemishes. But for $8k, who's complaining? Any tips you can provide would be greatly welcomed.
The chrome is going to be the first thing to go. That's a chemical erosion that goes through the clear coat. All 4 wheels need refinishing/replacement Something is weeping down here Driver's seat Passenger seat
