The Aux Fan on my 1987 560SL is not turning on when I run the A/C. The engine gets hotter when idling and at low speeds.
I checked the voltage across the "jump" and it shows 13 volts going to the AUX Fan. Is this the last connection where voltage flows to the AUX Fan motor? In other words, if this is the last connection where volts go to the Fan, then if the fan isn't running, the fan motor must be bad?
If this test shows the fan motor is getting voltage, then the fan motor must be bad? Thoughts? Advice? Thanks!
