Hello

I'm making good progress on my M110 engine rebuld. Can anyone identify what this corroded part is called? To assist with orienting the picture, the engine is sump side up on a crade and the corroded pipe I am looking for is on the inlet manifold side..

Thanks

Engine rebuild complete!
It has taken a while but my engine rebuild is complete and has been a great success! Complete strip down, new pistons, rings, bearings as well as the part in question (It's the feeder for the heating system). Would recommend the rebuild to anyone who's thinking of doing it on their 280SL. All the parts were OEM and relatively freely available. Car runs like silk and no more smoke on deceleration (new valve seals). I've done over 5000 km's now and glad to report no oil consumption at all.
