Cleaning leather seats

I use Lexol , i used it on my Ferrari seats and now using it on my 450sl. Never had any problems and it keeps seats soft and supple.when u start with the Cleaner use a wet sponge to really create a soapy solution. Wipe it dry and then use the Conditioner.

Thanks for the advice. My concern is that I live in Florida and want to protect the leather interior as best I can with the heat that we have here, esp. when I drive with the top down.

my advice is to enjoy the car but never leave it in the sun..... the heat will dry out the leather

Mothers VLR is a great cleaner, contains conditioning oils that should help your interior stand up to the sun/heat. I live in MO and it's worked well so far. For hard surfaces I use Turtle Wax super protectant after cleaning with VLR.

Don't use water.

Use saddle soap found at a horse saddle and boot shop is the very best.
