87 560SL front bumper amber city light not turning on - new bulb - blinks on
Bought me a 87 560SL couple of months ago and after a while noticed the dash shows warning light bulbs on. After inspection realized the front- left bumper squared integrated orange/amber park/city light does not turn on even after replacing bulbs. It is the only bulb in the car that seems off. Disassembled the whole front left light to access the back of it to have a look into the socket that connects the bumper housing harness with the main lights, I used electrical connector cleaner and made sure all is making contact and ground , still the light does not turn on , but the same bulb blinker operates. Does anyone have experienced this type of mysterious gremlin that can give me a lead to where to look for before I start thinking on replacing the whole bumper blinker housing and harness ? Truly appreciate any help. Thanks.
