83 300sd, 88 560sl, 14 e550
#7 Fuse blowing

Hi all, i have an 88' 560sl, I keep blowing the #7 fuse i disconnected what i could find Aux fan, washer heater, tail lights, climate control i have the entire interior out so all the wires are more or less exposed and i am not finding anything.... I need help.....

I bought a 12 volt short finder years ago at an auto parts store - I see the same one on Amazon for $33. Jump the fuse with the aligator clips, then run the meter along the wire. When the meter dives,you found your short.

Funny enough I did the same right after posting this I should be getting it on Friday I'll let you know what happens..... 🤞

Hey everyone im still on this now using a short tracer. I need help locating a few modules.
1 Light Monitoring unit/ module
2 Shifter Switch
3 Warning Module
