Glove Box - Materials?
Looking to find out the materials used on the glove box face (ABS plastic?) and the covering material (some sort of rubbery molded)? It has delaminated and I need to understand the materials of construction so I can select the appropriate glue to repair.
I tried JB Weld plastic (2 different types) and neither will hold for very long. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Your problem with JB might be surface prep rater than the adhesive itself. They use mold release at the factory, or it may be who knows what may have been applied by previous owners (armor All, silicone sprays that migrated in there. Or someone may have used superglue whichcould pose problems in itself. I needed to repair the hinge on one side, so used a 2 part epoxy roll from the auto parts store. Just cut off a hunk and knead it till uniform color. - that was after roughing the surface and wiping with acetone...that was 2 years ago and it is still working.

The backage is marked "Do I Best" epoxy putty. I think "Do I Best" is part of a hardware store chain. In hyour place, I'd sand the pieces down, clean with acetone and once it's dry use the epoxy.
Or you could prep it and ask at local body shops is they are going to do plastic repair, if they could squirt some plastic bonding material on your parts.
