SL/R107: Buying this SL today, where else to look for rust?

Buying this SL today, where else to look for rust?
I have a line on a 2 owner 83 280SL 5 speed. The owner doesn't know what he has so I'm getting a steal on it.

One of the issues with it is this rust spot on the rear wing/decklid. I've seen underside pictures and it looks mint (West coast car).

My question is: Where else should I check for rust due to this? Could water have gotten in the soft top store area?

I know to check the bulkhead, behind the seats on the floor, and in the trunk under the carpets.
