I restored a 1977 450sl this last winter. I replaced the turn signal and it was working when I got done. After much snow here in Michigan and a couple months later, I am ready to drive. I started her up and took her on a drive and the turn signals did not work. I hate the thought of threading that wiring back down the steering wheel tunnel. One odd occurrence is that a wire appeared on the (left hand driver) left side under the dash and I can't figure out where it goes. It has a grommet, like it is suppose to seal it somewhere
, and it is a two pronged female adapter on the end. I have attached pics hoping that someone can help.
