My brother owns a European spec 1972 350sl.
Cosmetically and structurally the car appears to be in good condition.
Mechanically - the engine hasn’t been started in over ten years. There is no gas tank – the original rusted.
I need recommendations regarding a shop in the Chicago/suburban area that is qualified to bring this vehicle back to life.
If there are shops that should be avoided, please send me a pm.
Any thoughts regarding the issues/cost this project will entail are greatly appreciated.
