75' 450sl injector inserts

Hello! Looking for a set of these hard to find plastic inserts for my 75' 450sl. I have new injectors and seals ready to install. Just need these plastic? inserts, so I can get her back on the road. I'm guessing they are plastic, because that's what they feel like. Thanks!

@Apache23 Please note these injector caps are not required for the injector to work properly. They are more so a protection cap for the nozzle. I have installed D-JET injectors without a protection cap and they ran just fine. I do recommend before installing injectors to test them or have them tested. I purchased myself and a injector tester by AUTOOL and converted the fittings to allow testing of D-Jet injectors. Works great. Unless you know your injectors are working properly you shouldn't install them as you will be chasing your tail trying to get the engine to run right.

Happy wrenching
Sven

are these for Djet?

I know the answer for K-jet you will not be able to seat the injector without them. These look somewhat similar, but don’t have the retaining clips and the o-ring groove on the end.

i’m only guessing that they’re made of the same material, but it is plastic and yours is gone very hard and brittle over the years, the new ones are soft and supple.
