Mysterious Drip

Hi everyone. My '73 450 SLC has developed a strange leak. It drips colorless, odorless liquid under the engine compartment. When her oil was changed, the mechanic said he wasn't worried about it, but just to watch it. There is a slight smell of oil to it, but the liquid is clear. Any ideas what this is before I take her to the dealer?
Also, do you think this car (the car is mint with only 126k miles), would this car with its little drip make it for a 300 mile trip? Thanks.

'81 380SL/dual cam chain-LT4 vette-Z06 ('03) vette-I need a bigger garage....
More than likely just condensation dripping through one of the several drain tubes for A/C and water runoff on either side of the transmission tunnel. No problem to worry about. One can see the tubes if you are able to get directly under transmission and look up to either side of it.
