The new sealed beams are fractionally smaller in diameter. I had to use some tape and soft putty to stop them rattling in the cone and retaining rings. They are half the weight of the originals as well. I suggest you measure the originals with a vernier and then measure any replacements, as 0.05" smaller diameter will cause them to rattle.
Plus I was surprised there was no plastic clips on the inboard side of the plastic surrounds. There was one on the outboard side, plus the 2 screws top and bottom in the middle. But nothing on the inboard side, so the plastic has some flex on the inboard side. Not like Merc in the old days.
