license plate holder on a US bumper ?

Unbolt it and remove it. If you have the outside temp gauge you will have to relocate the sensor.

If you can find the rubber strip that goes in the center of the rear bumper, it can be put in the center of the front with some trimming.

Or you could have a custom plate made..”380 SL”, “‘86 560 SL” in my case. Let your imagination fly.
