SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Interesting European Car magazine information!

This was reported in an article about the 'Brabus SL55 K8' on page 28 by Ian Kuah:
"At the time I drove the Brabus K8, I also learned that the forthcoming 476-bhp bi-turbo 5.5-liter V12 engine for the S600, CL600 and SL600 has prompted AMG to revise the specification of its supercharged 5.5-liter V8. After making just 100 cars with the 476-bhp engine, the SL55 AMG now has 500 bhp."
I copied this verbatim. Is that V12 engine size a typo? Is he referring to the current 5.8 liter V12 or the 5.5 liter Maybach engine? Will Mercedes or Maybach (not AMG) actually use a Bi-Turbo on the V12 instead of a supercharger?
I was hoping for a twin turbo V12, but the one mentioned in the article sounds a bit weak. Hmmmm.... At least it's promising to know that MB is developing bi-turbo V12s- I think that's a very good sign

Saw the references to the SLR. As of a month ago we were told at our dealership to return any deposite on the SLR. "Production has been delayed indefinetely", sorry to burst any bubbles but if you have money down on one you might want to ask your dealer about it.
