Good dealer in NYC?
Hello~ everyone:
I living in New York, and I am planning to get a SL55. Is anyone who can recommend me a good deaer and saleman here? By the way, does anyone know that the AMG performance package is available in US or not? Thanks~

Call Tog Pedersen at MB of White Plains (914 949-4000). A real standup guy and a Great dealership (I'm on vehicle #4 from them).

Wow, my first post. I'm actually picking up my 05 SL55 AMG in about 1 hour this morning!!!
I had a great experience at White Plains Mercedes, similar to the previous post. My salesman was Chris (only one Chris in sales )and I would highly recommend him and the dealership, (914)949-4001.

Thanks very much for all your recommendations. I'll contact each of the agents you guys recommended soon to see whom is more suitable for me. By the way, is the price negoitable? If it does, how much does a 05 SL55 probably cost(Assuming it has all the options except phone and distronic)?

Well the supply of "in-stock" SL55's seems to be limited. We visited 3 dealers in the Westchester and Greenwich area and we only found 2 SL55's. Luckily one of those was the one we wanted (Obsidian Black, Charcoal interior, panaroma roof, etc) so we were able to negotiate $5k off list but otherwise most wanted list and we were told delivery wouldnt occur until June/July most likely. They have many SL600's and SL500's and even SL65's....the SL55 is elusive!
