You can get the SL65 wheels from any wheel shop.. Globe Motorsports here in LA, or D2 Technik will get them for you. The two-tones in 19" from the SL65 cost about $1200 per wheel. So about $4800 total for the 4. Here's a pic I took of them in front of my car w/ my cameraphone when I was trying to figure out what color rims I want..

I put 20" HRE 547R's on my SL55 and I think that the ride is decent. It gets very stressful avoiding all these damn potholes here in Michigan though...

For the guy who said the SL starts riding like a 911, i'd be scared of that, 911's-- although not bumpy, have a jarring quality when they hit bumps. What does the SL feel like when riding across really bumpy roads w/ 20's on? Does the chassis ever feel unsettled or just really wobbly like a wet noodle? (Cowl shake)? Also does it matter that you have an SL600 and I have an SL55? Don't the AMG's have stiffer suspension settings, or does yours have the AMG sports package?
I dont think it matters-- same class. But, than again, you maybe right.

OK, I have to revise my earlier ride quality statements after spending most of this week driving up in L.A.

UNLESS your roads are EXCELLENT, and I mean EXCELLENT... the ride gets to be rather rough. I think I'm just spoiled down here in Newport Coast / Irvine / Newport Beach, because I was in L.A. all week and the ride quality on my 20's started to grate on me after a few days (even on the highway, ex. the 5 either way between the 710 and the 10).

I'm from the north east originally, and I can't see anyone getting by with 20's out there - heck even L.A. is a stretch. From now on I'm taking my E55 (on 19" Carlsson's) up to L.A. v. the SL55.

The BLING factor can't be understated though! Since I slapped on the chrome 20" Brabus wheels I've yet to have a valet stand park my sled anywhere except front and center... and if I hade a dime for every thumbs up I've gotten on the slow roll on Sunset I'd have afforded the SL65 with ease! (J/K)

The reality is they look great, but your ride will suffer somewhat. Rock on!

Phew, well that makes me feel better. At least i'll look cool while my teeth chatter due to 1" imperfections in the road.
