The XLR-V is definitely not going to down the SL55 anytime soon. Besides, look at the GM sales... which is at an all-time low.

the xlr-v does look like all the other new models that came out. theres nothing that really differentiates itself much more other liks the cts which is less than half its price... i think. my vote is for no. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot . but then again, if i got one for free, i wouldn't mind

i dont think its gonna be challenging the SL55 with only 440hp and 425ft/lbs, even though it weighs a little less

Listen, it isn’t only about which car is faster 0-60… a car is more than statistics. Performance is important… no one can accuse the SL55 of lacking in that department but sticking a huge engine in a car doesn’t make it a great car.

You love a car for a combination of reasons… performance, yes but also style, handling, feel, passion, heritage, presence… the XLR might have a lot of HP but it is badly lacking in all of the other areas…
