Mods were only tires and ECU. Outside temp was around 65 deg.
Strip was 1/8 mile. First run was 7.83 secs. with a passenger. At the time, we could not pre-heat the tires (BFG Drag Radials 275/35-18) because of the safety features. Then the shop's pit crew set the car to dyno mode... allowing burn outs to heat up the tires. After 30-sec burn outs, the average time was 7.41 secs, with the best being 7.38 secs @ 97.1 mph, driver alone.
Then we ran 7.5's with passenger, warned the first (max limit w/ passenger was 8.5 sec), then did it again, then got booted out.
The shop will be looking in the next two weeks into the exhaust and someway to cool down the intake temperatures in order to shave more time.
