This is a result of overanxious photographers purposefully ramming her car to force her to stop and have her picture taken. They have since been arrested for vehicular assault.

Well, let's say $30k damage to the car, expensive afternoon, never mind the personal injury claim. That's assuming he's insured. Still don't know who the bimbo is, judging by appearences, wasn't worth the effort.

I was reading an article in the LA Times today (Saturday) about papparazi, what their lifestyles are like and how much they make. The guy that rammed into Lindsey Lohan may, in fact, have come out ahead by "creating" his own shot/situation. Some amateur newlyweds who took one pic of Brittany Spears private LAs Vegas Wedding at a chapel garnered $300K for a low res shot! They just happened to have been going through the chapel in line at the right time. Veteran Papparazi that are independent (yes......most are represented by agencies) can easily make more than $1Mil a year consistently. Oftentimes, a $500K shot creates an incentive for blatant invasion of privacy and unrelenting efforts. They are like plainclothes undercover cops in the way they operate with pictures that say more than what a celebrity's agent and the media will disclose. Some have ethics, most do not.
