read this the other day in car and driver that there is a electronic speed limitor of 156mph on sl's is this true?

Search this forum for speedtuningusa and limiter. Many posts.
There is a software on the SL55 (and SL65). It can be removed (I've done it). You need to get the proper tires if you do this (Y rated).
