does the location of where the vehicle (in the US) is coming from...a dealership that is....if its not an issue...id suggest contacting Ray Catena Mercedes-Benz on the East Coast....he is the Largest MB Dealer in the Country and has great service and selection

That sucks! I'm surprised that you even want another SL after this experience.
Schumacher MB in Scottsdale is very accomodating. I have only been treated like gold since I got my SL55 from them. (I haven't had any problems....maybe thats why they love me).
They will come up with a car for you.....

go on mbusa web site and do a certified used car search for 2004- 2005 sl's. you can use my zip code of 21230 to find east coast dealers with cars listed. use you zip for west coast. there are several to look at.

Xeron, I think there are several dealerships which will be more than happy to take your money. If location is not an issue, you may have better luck looking at smaller dealerships. I bought mine at Schofield MB. Great manager, very knowledgable. He's a car guy like us. Ask for Randy Hershorn. I think he even has a s65 still on the showroom floor and is more than willing to deal with you unlike some other dealerships on the east/west coast. 316-688-5000. Good luck!
