Problem With my SL55 Acceleration. Please Help
Hi, I am writing because I have a problem with the acceleration of my SL55 AMG. I would normally take the car to the shop, so they can fix it. But I live in Venezuela and the guys in the shop gave up and don’t know what’s wrong.
The problem I have is that when I turn on the car everything’s fine, I even can step on it and the car behaves correctly, but when I stop or slow down (because of traffic or a red light) and I try to step on it again, it stops performing like an SL55 and starts behaving like an SL500. I have to turn off the car and turn it back on and I have my AMG back. I cant figure out whats the problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Oh and one more thing the car has the yellow engine light on (the one with the picture of the engine, not the one that says check engine), in the dash, and same problem no one can figure out what it is. Its most likely that it is related to my problem.

My SL 55 has had the same problem and it was a wire to the supercharger.

So, an obdii scanner should be able to get the code, if so, post it here
