Transmission gear shift performance
Before I talk to my dealer, I'd like to get an idea about how the AMG "SpeedShift" transmission should perform - in terms of how fast it changes gears.
I find the shift from 1st to 2nd is very quick. During "modest" acceleration, it shifts from 1st to 2nd without any noticeable lag; I couldn't ask for anything more!
Going from 2nd to 3rd (and 3rd to 4th) is totally different - it's like a slush box, taking quite a while to get into gear.
The above applies to both automatic and manual modes.
Is this typical? Does the "Speed" in the SpeedShift only apply to the 1-2 shift?

It's still a slushbox though, no argument about that.
