Ipod connection for my SL65
Any suggestions? I was thinking a wired connection in the armrest. OR do they make a special one for the benz that shows play list on the screen?

I don't believe the iPod integration kit is available for the SL. If you search the Audio and Electronics forum, you will probably find various solutions to your problem. I, personally, have given up and have burned mp3s onto DVDs and play them through the slot on the head unit. You can play songs in random or consecutive order and the titles show up on the instrument panel as with the iPod integration kit. You can use the arrow button on the left side of the steering wheel to skip to the next song if desired. And, a DVD will hold hundreds of songs.
The drawback to this compared to having the iPod kit is that you can't navigate though the iPod menus with the steering wheel buttons. You must navigate the folders that contain the songs on the DVD using the COMAND.
I found the iTrip device to be useless.
